Amerie is a sexy R & B singer and songwriter of Korean and African heritage. She she studied English and Fine Arts at Georgetown University and graduated in 2000. While still in school, Amerie got introduced her to Rich Harrison. He liked her voice and after a few months of working together, a demo was made. In 2002, she released the album All I Have and in 2005, Amerie released her second album, Touch. That album received two Grammy Award nominations: "Best Female R&B Vocal Performance" for the song "1 Thing" and "Best Contemporary R&B Album". In 2007, Amerie released her third album Because I Love It.
