Anna Nicole Smith (Vickie Lynn Hogan) was abandoned by her father, and due to that she was shuttled between her mother and an aunt. At 17, Anna Nicole met 16 year old Billy Smith, who she married and in the same year they had a baby boy named Daniel. After the birth of her son she abandoned Billy and headed to Houston. She began performing under her childhood nickname of "Nikki" and another pseudonym, "Robin", before choosing the name "Anna Nicole". As a child, she had learned many of Marilyn Monroe's songs by heart. She was obsessed with the idea that it was her destiny to be like Marilyn. Anna Nicole Smith did a GUESS ad campaign in 1992, and since she was from Texas, she became a goddess from the start. When she turned 24, she posed nude for Playboy and won the magazine cover contest. In 1993 Anna Nicole Smith was "Playboy Playmate of the Year". In 1994, Anna Nicole married J. Howard Marshall, who then was a 89-year-old wheelchair-bound billionaire. He died in 1995 and the heirs claimed at the court that Marshall couldn't have been in full possession of his spirit when he married Anna Nicole. They got right and Anna "only" received about two millions. In November 2004, Anna Nicole appeared as Marilyn Monroe in PETA's Gentlemen Prefer Fur-Free Blondes ad campaign. The ad spotlighted a survey in Marie Claire's September issue, which found that 8 out of 10 men find fur a turnoff. During the MTV Awards in Sydney, Australia, 2004, Anna Nicole Smith showed her big breasts with only MTV stickers taped over them. It all happend when the award for Best Video to Dissociatives was about to be announced. When the singer Daniel Johns appeared on stage to recieve the award, topless Anna Nicole jumped him. On September 7, 2006, Anna Nicole gave birth to a baby girl named Dannie-Lynn Hope, in the Bahamas. At that same time, her son, Daniel, came to visit her and his newborn sister at the hospital. Daniel arrived Saturday night in the Bahamas, and on Sunday morning he was found dead on one of two beds in a hospital room.
Anna Nicole Smith died on February 8, 2007, after collapsing at a hotel in Florida. At her hotel room, illegal narcotics and prescription medications were found. She died in the ambulance on the way to the hospital. |
