Heather Locklear is the youngest of 4 sisters, and father is the Dean of the School of Engineering at UCLU, and her is an administrative assistant at Disney. Heather attended UCLA as a psychology major when a casting director saw her her and encouraged her to take a commercial acting class. By the end of her freshman year, Heather Locklear began to do guest TV spots, and decided to pursue acting full-time. She started out with guest-appearances on early '80s television programs, such as Chips, Eight Is Enough and The Fall Guy. In 1982, Aaron Spelling cast Heather Locklear in the role as Samantha Josephine Dean Carrington Fallmont, or "Sammi Jo," in the television soap, Dynasty. She also appeared as the Officer Stacy Sheridan on T.J. Hooker. Heather landed a big-screen role in the horror film Firestarter, co-starring Drew Barrymore. Heather can also be seen in The Return of the Swamp Thing (1989). Her role as Abby Arcane garnered Heather a 1990 Razzie Award, for Worst Actress in a Film. Heather Locklear also appeared as Amanda Woodward in Melrose Place. She was nominated for Best Actress in a TV Drama for 4 consecutive years, for her work on Melrose Place. While filming Melrose Place, Heather guest-starred in the film Wayne's World, as Wayne and Garth's most schwingable babe. She also starred in Money Talks, co-starring Charlie Sheen, and in Double Tap. After Melrose Place Heather Locklear joined the cast of the ABC sitcom, Spin City, starring Michael J Fox. Tommy Lee and Heather got divorced in 1992, and she married Bon Jovi guitarist, Richie Sambora, in Paris, in 1994. The couple welcomed their first daughter, Ava Elizabeth, into the world in 1997. She starred in The Perfect Man (2005) opposit Chris Noth and Hilary Duff and in Angels Fall (2007). On April 11, 2007, Heather Locklear and Richie Sambora got divorced. |
