At 18, she wrote two teen novels, "Bewitched" and "Seduced by Fame", that became bestsellers. Isla Fisher played the role of Shannon Reed on the Australian TV soap Home and Away (1994-1997). She got engaged to famous British actor Sacha Baron Cohen (a.k.a Ali G or Borat). In 2005, she played the role of Gloria Cleary in the movie Wedding Crashers.
