Julia Roberts started modeling in order to make a living, and she took acting classes on the side. She received her big break after her brother, Eric Roberts, convinced a director to cast his little sister in the film Blood Red. I took 4 years between the production of the film Blood Red and its release. During this time Julia Roberts found television work on such series as Crime Story. In the late '80s, Julia landed roles in the films Mystic Pizza and Satisfaction. Her role in Mystic Pizza did not go unnoticed.
