Valeria Mazza was born in Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina. At 14, she got her first modeling job, in an amateur fashion show. It was a close friend to her parents that helped her get that job. Valeria managed to launch her modeling career as well as graduate from high school. She studied therapy for the disabled, and she loves working with people. She moved to New York in order to further her career as a model. In New York Valeria Mazza landed countless jobs doing magazine covers, runways and advertisements. Valeria Mazzas first advertising campaign was in 1992, for the Caro Cuore, Ragazza line. In September 1992, she appeared on the cover of Cosmopolitan. Which was her first magazine cover. Valeria used her newfound fame to work with the Special Olympics.
In 1995, Valeria Mazza did her first international advertising campaign, for Guess?. She was photographed in tropical Hawaii by Dewey Nicks. She also graced the cover of Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit Edition with fellow model Tyra Banks in 1996. Valeria has appeared in a European hosiery commercial with actor Antonio Banderas. She can alson be seen in Pepsi's Generation Next spots. But no matter how busy she gets, she always has time for her Gameboy. It is her favorite pastime, and she finds the game addictive and hard to put down once she starts playing.
Valeria Mazza married businessman Alejandro Gravier on May 9, 1998 and together they have two sons; Tiziano and Balthazar. |
