As a teenager, Victoria Silvstedt spent her winters skiing professionally, but this cereer ended due to a shoulder injury. At the age 18, she entered the "Miss Sweden" contest and represented Sweden in the 1993 Miss World Pageant. She situated her self in the top ten. Victoria moved to Paris where she began modeling professionally. There she worked with some of the largest agencys including Chanel, Christian Dior and Giorgio Armani. Victoria Silvstedt was Playboy Playmate of the Month December 1996 and Playboy Playmate of the Year 1997. In 1997 she was a spokesmodel for Guess? jeans. She also appeared in television shows, including Melrose Place and MTV's The Real World, and a guest appearance in the film Baseketball. Victoria Silvstedt recorded an album, Girl on the Run, that topped the European Billboard charts, and the music video to her single Hello Hey reached number 1 on European MTV.
Victoria lives in the U.S and is married to TV/radio journalist Chris Wragge. The couple married June 10, 2000. At the filmfestival in Cannes, 2005, Victoria lifted her skirt and showed her butt to the photographers that was surrounding her. She is a close friend to Prince Albert of Monaco. Once, at a party, Victoria threw strawberrys into Prince Alberts mouth! Victoria and her mother, Ulla, are working on Victoria's own beauty products that are going to be released in 2006. On February 17, 2006, Victoria launches her lingerie line Very Victoria Silvstedt the House of Lingerie in London. She and designer Amber Bishop created the collection together. |
